Fifth Fairway at Seven Devils/Hawksnest, (sleeps 4 adults, 3 children) is a truly comfortable and cozy mountain house to call home for your High Country getaway. Seven Devils is located between Boone and Banner Elk and both towns are brimming with shops, restaurants and pubs. Hawksnest also provides snow-tubing during the winter season.
Entering the property from the front porch, you'll find a well equipped kitchen with all the appliances, fridge, stove and dishwasher as well as coffee maker and coffee bean grinder, microwave and toaster. Lots of counter space makes meal prep easy. The kitchen has a great open view through the bar to the living area so you can continue conversations while you fix a meal or a snack.
In the living area, settle into the comfy couches to relax and enjoy the remote controlled gas log fireplace and/or your favortie show on the flat screen TV. The TV offers Spectrum cable and ROKU. A wet bar is also available in the living area for you enjoyment. The view from the living room deck is super, bringing you close up and distant mountain views. The Fifth Fairway (no longer a golf course), will be a bonanza of wildlife viewing depending on the time of year you are here. Wild turkeys, deer and bears are seen quite often from your view off the deck.
The master bedroom boasts a king size bed and large master bath. The laundry area is also in this bathroom with full size washer and dryer. The second bedroom has a queen bed and folks have easy access to a hallway bathroom. Bathroom tile floors are new and heated, sooo nice! Both bedrooms have new carpet and baseboard heat. Downstairs is the bedroom number 3, with 3 bunkbeds and a 3rd full bath.
The location is great, you are only minutes from Hawksnest for snow tubing, Banner Elk, Boone and Blowing Rock for skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, etc. . Wineries are found in Banner Elk, Linville and Grandfather Mountain. Sugar, Beech and Appalachian Ski Mountains provide an array of winter snow sports. 4WD is always recommended in the High Country from November thru March.
