The Birdhouse Mountain Chateau is a luxury home nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Truly a high elevation paradise!!! Just off of the Blue Ridge Parkway and 12 miles to Boone or Blowing Rock. The Bird House Mountain Chateau provides ample parking and easy accessibility. The wooden deck walkway bridges over a small pond and up to the entry door with minimal steps.
Entering on the main floor, you are quickly drawn to the large wall of doors that gives you a Magnificent 100 mile long distance mountain view no matter what time of year. From sunrise to sunset, a kaleidoscope of colors is ever changing. Go straight for the deck and soak in your long range open vista. Follow the deck around the corner for one of the favorite spots in the house, the SCREENED-IN PORCH. Relax on the designer cushioned lounge set as the breeze blows over the mountain peaks and the birds sing. Custom lighting with fans keep you comfortable. Catch up with friends and family while grilling your steaks or shrimp on the stainless steel Gas Grill. Wind-break doors and being under roof allows you to grill year round while listening to music.
Back inside; the open Great Room offers high ceilings with fans, hardwood floors, A/C, gas-burning Stone Fireplace (no mess, no worry about where to get wood), and large HDTV Analog programming and stereo surround sound. Relax on the oh -so-comfortable Leather Furniture including a swivel recliner or call the hungry gang to the dining table that can accommodate 6 to 8 guests.
Rounding out the great room is “The Kitchen”. Very upscale with Granite countertops, Granite Sink with pressure wand faucet. Stainless Steel Appliances, French door refrigerator, trash compactor, microwave, dual fuel 40 inch gas top stove with two ovens, Custom cabinets, garbage disposal and custom lighting and fans. There is plenty of Cookware, along with all the essentials for dining simple or fancy. Enjoy the Granite top island which seats four while watching the sun set. Table Rock takes center stage from your 100 mile layered view. Stay cozy with the electric fireplace and Analog HDTV Flat screen TV.

The Main Level Bedroom (queen) is easily accessible. Ample dressers, Leather chair, electric fireplace and ceiling fans offers true convenience to all main living. The adjoining full bath, boasts a Waterfall faucet and Granite Custom sink with easy entry shower.
In the Upstairs suite, awake from a blissful slumber in a queen size memory foam bed. Enjoy that first cup of coffee on your private balcony with panoramic views. YOU won’t even have to go down to the kitchen as you have a Coffee Maker, Microwave and Mini Fridge right there in your suite. Step into the luxurious bath with spa tub (jetted) and full shower. This level also features a den-like area with A/C and gas log fireplace. Kick back on the leather furniture and enjoy the large HDTV Flat screen, DVD player, surround sound and stereo. Should you really want some solitude, walk over to the Hot Spot reading room surrounded by windows with its own fireplace and small Flat screen TV.
There is one more level to go. THE SKYDECK with 180 degree view is amazing! The true upper deck has a table that seats four, two sun lounging chairs, AND a HOT TUB (seasonal- currently winterized (closed) for the season). Exercise on the Gazelle as you watch the clouds swirl overlooking the Breath taking mountain views. Golfers bring your putter and enjoy the putt-putt carpeted roof top. At night it becomes a Star gazers dream. Heaven touched with Stardust!
When you’re all rested up, head down to the lower level. Here you can showcase your skills with a game of pool. You will be warmed by the Rock gas fireplace while you enjoy the wet bar, Rumpus Room with a large HDTV flat screen TV and stereo. This floor also offers a bedroom (full) and complete bath. The laundry area is close by, so you won't miss a beat.
Venture out into the yard where there are three and half acres and plenty of groomed or natural paths to roam. Corn holes are available for your enjoyment. You might be lucky to pick a pear, see deer, wild turkeys and of course rabbits, squirrels and chipmunks. Don’t forget the fixins’ for S’mores when you head out to the fire pit. How about that Hot Dog too!
The all-encompassing mountain views from the different decks will make you feel you have arrived in the Mountains! No matter what season from winter to summer, The Birdhouse Mountain Chateau will become a favorite place to perch.
