Walk right into the cabin at the point of congregation, the kitchen. This spacious, well-appointed kitchen has everything you need to be Chef of the Hill and a dining table big enough to hold all the food and seat all the family. From the kitchen, it�s so easy to chat with friends and family in the living area as they enjoy a ballgame or favorite show on the big screen TV or just catch-up on conversation as everybody warms by the gas log fireplace.
The main level also boasts the master queen bedroom with private bath, complete with 2 person jetted tub and double sinks. A second queen bedroom and hallway access bath is on this level as well. The loft, accessed via a ladder on the main level, has set of twin beds for the younger generation. Lots of family possessions just right for a mountain cabin will have you seeing something new each time you enter a room, like an antique mirror, fishing gear, and good ole mountain stuff.
You will truly lose count of the number of times you walk out onto the deck and take in the fabulous view as you sip your cup of coffee or glass of wine.
Need a little quite time, then escape downstairs to the den area to read a book, flip through a magazine, or watch a movie on the flat screen TV there. Also on this lower level is Bedroom #3, with a bunk bed of a twin over a full, and a third full bath. Walk outside from this lower level to the back yard and let the kids get a little exercise. And just around nighttime head to the huge fire pit, just right for hot dogs, marshmallows or just plain sitting around. Did someone say "Ghost Stories"?
You will want to come back again and again to this spot and make it your home away from home. Convenient to all things fun to do in the High Country, Boone, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, Mystery Hill, skiing, hiking, rafting and of course shopping, shopping, shopping!
